In the vineyard
In the vineyard
Estate vineyard on the foothills of Mount Narthakion at 380 metres, oriented east-west. Organic and dry-farmed.
In the cellar
Vinified with extended lees contact, which gives the wine its signature note of yeast and honeycomb.
Ageing
Matures in bottle. The dark glass shields the wine from light.
At the table
Grilled fish, shellfish, mature white cheeses, butter-based dishes.
Phthia was the kingdom of Achilles, in southern Thessaly - precisely where our vineyard lies today.
